The best ever Garlic Prawns

Hi peeps


This recipe has won me many admirers, it is so delicious you will be licking you paws and plate!!

Tip: To get in the mood, crank some tunes and open your bottle of cooking wine and have a glass ;)


You will need:

  • 50 grams of butter

  • 5 garlic cloves, crushed

  • 2 x fresh chilli chopped finely

  • 1kg medium green prawns, peeled leaving tails intact, deveined

  • 60ml (1/4 cup) dry white wine

  • 1/3 cup firmly packed coarsely chopped fresh continental parsley

  • Salt & freshly ground black pepper


  • Heat butter in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring, for 1 minute or until aromatic, add chilli and cook for a further minute. Add prawns and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes or until prawns curl and change colour.

  • Add wine and bring to the boil. Cook for 1 minute or until sauce thickens. Remove from heat. Add parsley and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper.

  • Divide prawns among bowls to serve.

Enjoy with another glass of vino!
