The best ever Garlic Prawns
This recipe has won me many admirers, it is so delicious you will be licking you paws and plate!!
Tip: To get in the mood, crank some tunes and open your bottle of cooking wine and have a glass ;)
You will need:
50 grams of butter
5 garlic cloves, crushed
2 x fresh chilli chopped finely
1kg medium green prawns, peeled leaving tails intact, deveined
60ml (1/4 cup) dry white wine
1/3 cup firmly packed coarsely chopped fresh continental parsley
Salt & freshly ground black pepper
Heat butter in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring, for 1 minute or until aromatic, add chilli and cook for a further minute. Add prawns and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes or until prawns curl and change colour.
Add wine and bring to the boil. Cook for 1 minute or until sauce thickens. Remove from heat. Add parsley and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper.
Divide prawns among bowls to serve.
Enjoy with another glass of vino!
